BlackBull Markets has pledged to a substantial multimillion-dollar collaboration with the Starship Foundation for the next three years, which is expected to support essential healthcare services for New Zealand’s youngest patients. The national children’s hospital will be able to sustain its top-notch standards and keep promoting cutting-edge medical advances thanks to financial support from the proudly Kiwi firm.

Funding Life-Changing Initiatives

From its founding in 1992 to the present, the Starship Foundation has collected over $160 million to support vital programs, technology, equipment, and research that directly benefit sick and wounded children across the nation. Recent efforts include maintaining the Starship National Air Ambulance service, which airlifts a child for urgent specialized treatment every 45 hours, cutting-edge surgical procedures for uncommon cardiac problems, and growing the sole pediatric intensive care unit in the country.

Corporate Partner Pledge Amplifies Impact

“We are a proud New Zealand company and believe in making a meaningful difference here. The work that the Starship Foundation does for the young patients of Starship Children’s Hospital is so impactful. Having seen first-hand the courage of the patients and the important work performed by Starship and the Foundation, we couldn’t be prouder to become a Major Partner for the foreseeable future,” stated Michael Walker, CEO of BlackBull Markets.

“Corporate philanthropy makes an incredible impact in the lives of Starship patients and their whānau,” added Joanna Simon, Starship Foundation CEO. “We’re thrilled to welcome BlackBull Markets to our family of partners who play such an important role in bringing better health and brighter futures to children across the country. With a 25% increase in patient visits, stays and appointments at Starship over the past year, this partnership comes at a critical time. We couldn’t be more grateful for the support of the BlackBull Markets team.”

The partnership underscores BlackBull’s commitment to uplifting communities through purposeful philanthropy, while ensuring New Zealand’s youngest receive uncompromising care when they need it most.
