TopFX, the renowned Cyprus-based FX and CFDs broker, is ushering in a new era with the appointment of Victor Zachariades as its Global CEO. This pivotal leadership transition marks the end of an era for outgoing CEO Alex Katsaros, who had been the driving force behind the company’s transformation into a full-fledged retail brokerage.

Meet the New Boss

Zachariades, a seasoned executive with a diverse background spanning multiple industry heavyweights, brings a wealth of experience to his new role at TopFX. His impressive resume includes stints at Pepperstone, Alpaca, Libertex Group, FxPro, and TFI Markets, among others.

Most recently, Zachariades founded BKR44, a CFD broker solutions provider, and served as a board member for Go Markets Cyprus, further solidifying his industry credentials.

Changing of the Guard

While Zachariades takes the reins, his predecessor, Alex Katsaros, will transition to an advisory role, supporting the CFD broker’s major shareholder. Katsaros’s tenure, spanning over a decade, was marked by a pivotal shift in the company’s strategic direction, pivoting from an institutional broker and “B2B” entity to a full-service retail brokerage.

Under Katsaros’s leadership, The CFD broker expanded its operations through CySEC-licensed TopFX Ltd and the offshore entity TopFX Global Ltd, catering to a diverse client base across multiple jurisdictions.
