What is Alpari?

Alpari is a big company that helps people trade different things like foreign money, precious metals, and other stuff. It’s in many countries. One part of it in the UK had money problems in 2015 because it lost a lot of money trading between Swiss franc and euro. But it still trade in Belarus and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

They give you what you need to trade things like Forex, Metals, Commodities, and more. They also let you pay and get money securely, and they give you tools and news to help with trading.

Alpari wants everyone, especially those who are new, to be successful in trading. Right now, they serve over a million clients from 150 countries. They have offices in many places around the world like Russia, Ukraine, Belize, and others.

Pros and Cons

Pros Cons
They offer lots of different trading accounts for people at all levels of experience and with different goals. You can’t trade on weekends.
Their customer support team works really well and is helpful. Sometimes it takes a while to get your money when you withdraw it.
There are many ways you can add money to your account or take money out. If you’re not a VIP trader, you don’t get compensated for any fees when you add or take out money.
If you want to trade on MetaTrader 5, you need a standard account. And if you want a swap-free Forex Islamic account, you have to use MetaTrader 4.

Regulation and Security

The Alpari broker is registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It has a license called 20389 IBC 2012 from the Registrar of International Business Companies. You can find this license on the Alpari website. With this license, Alpari can offer its services in the global foreign exchange market. Also, Alpari is part of the International Financial Commission. This group handles problems between traders and brokers worldwide. Alpari doesn’t share information about its regulatory bodies.

Is Alpari safe or a scam?

Alpari Online Trading Broker is a member of the Financial Commission. Clients there can get up to €20,000 from an investor compensation fund for each claim, like with EU regulators. Client deposits are kept separate from the company’s money, and there’s protection from losing more money than you have for regular traders. We think Alpari is trustworthy because it has over 25 years of experience and a good reputation. Its ownership by Exinity Group and Andrey Dashin adds to its credibility.

So, Alpari isn’t a scam. It’s been operating for a long time and has a good reputation. But it doesn’t have licenses from big authorities like FCA and ASIC, which are seen as the safest for traders.

Leverage

Alpari offers different levels of leverage for its accounts. In ECN accounts, you can get up to 1:3000 leverage. For Standard accounts, it’s 1:1000, and for Nano accounts, it’s 1:500. We like that Alpari adjusts the margin requirement and maximum leverage based on how much you’re trading and how liquid the assets are.

If you’re trading cryptocurrency or equity CFDs, the maximum leverage is 1:5. But for certain commodity and index CFDs, you can get up to 1:500 leverage. Alpari also has something called negative balance protection, which means you won’t lose more money than you’ve deposited.

Remember, when you’re trading with leverage, it’s important to manage your risks carefully to avoid big losses.

Accounts Types

At Alpari, there are different account options for new and experienced traders. These accounts vary in the minimum amount needed to start, the trading platforms available, the number of assets for trading, the maximum amount you can borrow, the level at which trades are automatically closed, how orders are carried out, and the most you can trade at once.

1. Nano.mt4

This is a beginner-friendly account where you can start with any amount of money. The smallest amount you can trade is 1000 units, and the biggest is 100,000 units. 7. Ecn.mt5

Fees

When we check out brokers, one of the most important things we look at is how much it costs to trade because that affects how much money we make. Alpari offers different types of accounts, each with its own fees. Some are quite competitive. If you trade Forex without paying a commission, you could pay as little as 0.2 pips or $2.00 for every standard round lot you trade.

If you choose a commission-based account, the minimum spread is 0.0 pips, and on average, it’s 0.3 pips. On top of that, you’ll pay a commission between $1.60 and $4.60 for each lot you trade. If you trade a lot, you might qualify for lower fees through a rebate program. Also, if you keep a trade open overnight, you’ll pay competitive rates for the interest on the borrowed money.

Spreads

The standard spread for trading EUR USD with Alpari is 1.1 pips. But if you have an ECN account, you’ll pay the raw spread plus a commission. If you keep your trade open overnight, you’ll pay a fee.

Deposits and Withdrawals

Alpari gives you many ways to deposit and withdraw from your trading account. They make sure to have options that work well for the main places their traders come from. This makes it easy for traders to do what they need to do. When we checked, six ways to put money in and three ways to take it out didn’t have any extra fees. But be careful, because there might still be fees from other companies, or charges for changing money from one currency to another. Alpari lets you use nine different currencies, which makes things easier if you’re in Asia or Latin America. The only thing they don’t offer is support for cryptocurrency.

Deposits

With Alpari, you can start trading with as little as $5. If you’re using an ECN account, you’ll need at least $20 or $500, which is still reasonable. But if you want to trade with even less, you might want to check out Axiory, which has something called a Nano Account.

Withdrawals

When you take money out of your Alpari account, you won’t have to pay any fees for some types of payments, including cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Litecoin, and Zcash. Alpari has different ways for you to get your money, but remember, some of them might have extra charges. It depends on where you’re sending money from and who you’re sending it to.

Usually, it takes Alpari two business days to confirm your withdrawal. Then, it might take up to five working days for the money to get to your account. But this can vary depending on the method you used and where you live.

Trading Platforms

Alpari traders use upgraded MT4/MT5 platforms with Autochartist for trading signals. MT4 leads in algorithmic trading, MT5 is preferred for equity CFDs. Traders can customize MT4 with over 25,000 indicators but at a cost. Both platforms offer customizable desktop clients.

Alpari chose not to use a web-based platform, preferring its mobile app for Android and iOS. It’s great for copy traders and PAMM investors. They also offer Alpari Invest, a mobile app for one-click investments.

Customer Support

Alpari provides responsive customer service via live chat, email, and phone in multiple languages. Live or phone support is recommended for urgent issues. Direct access to the finance department is advised for financial matters. While Alpari describes its products well, the FAQ section is limited. Clients are encouraged to check forums before contacting support.

Research and Education

Alpari offers articles on various topics for beginner traders but lacks depth. They have a well-organized education and analysis section. Novices can join educational courses and webinars at the Investment Academy. These courses cover Forex basics, analysis methods, and risk management. Beginners should start with Alpari’s introduction before seeking additional free resources online. It’s suggested to focus on trading psychology and risk management while avoiding paid courses and mentors.

We believe this Alpari 2024 review will help you make an informed decision. Today, the Alpari Charitable Fund has over 100 full-time volunteers. Overall, Alpari has a long history of operation, overcoming many crises, and providing global services to thousands of clients.
