Bitcoin ETFs Record New Inflows After Two Months of Investor Withdrawals
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have once again turned positive after almost two months of investor withdrawals, giving a new indication that institutional interest in cryptocurrency might be getting better.
The new stats from SoSoValue reveals that BTCEs saw $197.4 million worth of net inflows over the last week, which ended on July 10. Further, Ethereum ETFs were also rescued from their losing streak with $84.42 million in net inflows.
The move is the first week of positive movement since eight weeks of redemptions that have depressed market sentiment.

Crypto Investment Products Recover After Weeks of Selling Pressure
Recovery comes after a difficult period for cryptocurrencies. Since mid-May, Bitcoin ETFs have seen consistent outflows, reaching their highest point at $1.79 billion for the week ending June 26. Ethereum ETFs also saw the maximum weekly outflow of $273.34 million for the same period.
BlackRock Leads the Bitcoin ETF Rebound
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust was a big reason for the surge in bitcoins. The fund itself has gained nearly $292 million in new capital, which made it the top performer of the group of spot Bitcoin ETFs.
But not all areas of the market recovered. More products saw investor withdrawals, including funds from Grayscale, Fidelity, and ARK 21Shares that compete with Binance’s.
This trend is indicative of a cautious strategy by institutional investors, rather than a blanket withdrawal from Bitcoin ETF products. Investors seem to be selecting those funds whose track records are better, their asset amounts are larger and their market perception is more favorable.
Improving Market Conditions Support Investor Sentiment
ETF inflows came as part of a general bounce-back in cryptocurrency prices. Market sentiment was given lift by hints that inflation pressures might be fading and that future monetary policy moves might be less hawkish. To the majority of investors, these factors can only mean that they must take more risks and thus have higher exposure to the assets they own, such as bitcoin and ethereum.
Geopolitical Risks Continue to Impact ETF Demand
Even though some of the weekly statistics are good, volatility is still an issue. Despite the geopolitical tensions related to the U.S. military action in Iran, Bitcoin ETFs saw enormous daily outflows on July 8 and July 9. It shows how quickly investor sentiment can transform in times of global uncertainty.
What the Latest ETF Inflows Mean for the Crypto Market
The respective levels of Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF assets stand at roughly $77.42 billion and $9.59 billion respectively. While one week of inflows does not necessarily signal a broader trend, the most recent data indicates institutional interest in crypto investing appears to be settling.
The coming weeks will reveal whether this rebound marks the beginning of a stronger recovery or simply a temporary pause in the recent wave of selling.
